Warranty Coverage

These Quality Assurance Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms and Conditions") apply to the products which are sold by Sankyo Oilless Industry, Inc., its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), its authorized distributors, and which are listed in the Company's product catalogue (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalogue"). Please note that special order products are not covered by these Terms and Conditions. In addition, certain products which are listed in the Catalogue may be sold under the name of a manufacturer other than the Company or an authorized distributor of the Company. The warranty of the respective manufacturer takes precedence over any warranty provided by these Terms and Conditions or the Catalogue.
There may be slight differences in appearance, shape, and finish of the products listed in the Catalogue and sold by the Company or one of its authorized distributors, depending on where the product is manufactured, but such differences do not constitute problems with function or performance of the product.

Warranty Period

The warranty period for products covered by these Terms and Conditions is one year from the date of delivery of the product to the customer. However, where product specific warranty conditions are separately stated in the Catalogue, the individual warranty conditions shall prevail.

Warranty Conditions

The warranty does not cover defects in the product if the defects correspond to (i) to (vi) etc.
(i) Defects caused by normal wear and tear during normal use.
(ii) Defects caused by use outside the conditions of use or application described in the Catalogue for each product.
(iii) Defects caused by storage outside the storage conditions described in the Catalogue for each product.
(iv) Defects caused by force majeure such as earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, other natural disasters, fire, war, or conflict.
(v) Minor rust, scratches, or stains that do not affect the function of the product.
(vi) If you purchase the Company's products from an auction, flea market, or other similar third party website.

Warranty Limitation

Generally, the warranty for defects of a product under these Terms and Conditions is based on the replacement or repair of the defective product. Except for the manufacturer's liability under the Product Liability Act, the Company's warranty liability is limited to the purchase price of the product covered by the warranty.
